This quilt pattern for FARMHOUSE CROSSING includes a PDF downloadable pattern by Robin Pickens, shown using her Dandi Annie collection for Moda Fabrics, but can be made with your choice of fabrics. (Dandi Annie ships to quilt shops this November). This colorful quilt uses Half-Square Triangles in four color families to make a kaleidoscope of colors through sashing reminiscent of window panes. The pattern is written for Twin size of 77" x 94" or a Lap/Wall size of 60" x 60". Yardage needed is indicated on the back of pattern. There is also a bonus layout for Twin size using a Fat Quarter of Dandi Annie or other Fat Quarters (however, additional solid fabrics needed to make that version).
Patterns are for use with your own cotton fabrics. The actual item being sold and downloaded are the PDF patterns for making the quilt, not the actual quilt or fabrics. This pattern is a PDF booklet of 12 pages (10 pages plus front and back cover) that is arranged in PDF form as front and back covers, Pages 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 (so it will print onto 6 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11" paper). Instructions include indications of yardage needed and steps to make a twin and lap/wall quilt. This pattern is suitable for an intermediate quilter or a beginning quilter who is comfortable with Half-Square Triangles and matching points on triangles and matching seams.
